By switching to the green electricity provider Lichtblick, our hotel will be able to avoid 115.50 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually. The energy is sourced 100% from renewable sources, which means it does not come from nuclear, coal, or oil-fired power plants. We are pleased to be able to do our part for a greener future.

Water is a vital resource. We can save water when cleaning your rooms, and we need your help to do so. If you opt out of daily housekeeping, we’ll save water and support sustainable projects like Tree-Athlete and Project Wings. As a thank-you, you’ll receive one August Coin worth €5 for each day you opt out, redeemable throughout the hotel and in the Cuvée Lounge.

Digitizing our processes allows us to significantly reduce our paper consumption. Registration forms can be filled out online, and invoices can be received via email. In addition, newspapers, magazines, and information about the hotel, Koblenz, and the region are available in the digital guest folder. This saves paper and resources.

A key aspect of our strategy is the use of energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the hotel. These lights consume less electricity and have a longer lifespan. This reduces our energy consumption—a win for the environment and for us.
